TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Bookings
All bookings with Inertia Adventures are subject to confirmation and are therefore ‘on request’ until confirmed.
2. Language
Within our Booking Policy, Inertia Adventures may be referred to as “Inertia Adventures”, “we” or “us”.
3. Language other
Within our Booking Policy, you, the participant / entrant may be referred to as “you”, “the participant” or “entrant”.
4. Process
The bookings process is as follows:
• once an ADVENTURE has been identified and duration, cost and particulars are confirmed and agreed upon between entrant and Inertia Adventures (As per web page details), Inertia Adventures will require a £200.00 deposit, via our booking process on the Adventure page.
* Inertia Adventures advises that travel insurance is taken out from this point – insurance should start from the date an Adventure is booked, not for the date of travel in case of any cancellations or unforeseen changes. *
• Upon receipt of the deposit Inertia Adventures will reach out to confirm the booking, via email.
• If the requested Adventure is unavailable Inertia Adventures will issue a full refund of the deposit taken.
• Assuming the trip is confirmed, Inertia Adventures will then issue confirmation details.(We will only confirm in full once the required number of entrants has been reached.)
• Inertia Adventures do not arrange flights. We strongly advise that flights are NOT booked until the trip is confirmed.• Final payment will be due 60 days prior to start date of the tour, and a reminder will be sent out via email at 90 days prior, interim payments can be made via bank transfer.
• A late payment fee will be added to any outstanding payments that have missed the 60 day deadline at a rate of £1.50 per day per booking.
If You Cancel Before Final Payment is Made
Once the trip is confirmed, a refund of the deposit cannot be issued. This is because once the trip has been confirmed Inertia Adventures will incur non-refundable charges for having secured the booking. If a trip has been confirmed but final payment has not yet been made, then should ‘you’ need to cancel your departure date, no further charges will be incurred.
If a trip has been confirmed but final payment has not yet been made, then should ‘you’ need to change your departure date, Inertia Adventures will identify and offer available alternatives (if available). Any charges incurred for changing the departure date will be passed on to ‘you’. These will be made clear prior to confirmation.
If You Cancel Before Final Payment is Made

If a trip has been confirmed but final payment has not yet been made, then should ‘you’ need to cancel your departure date, no further charges will be incurred.
If you Cancel After Final Payment is Made
Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of the Adventure. Once final payment has been made a refund cannot be issued.
Once final payment has been taken, should there ‘you’ need to postpone the Adventure, Inertia Adventures will do what it can to rearrange the departure date, but this must be done within the same year.
Any charges incurred for changing the departure date will be passed on to ‘you’. These will be made clear prior to confirmation.
Protections
Inertia Adventures strongly advises that flights are not booked until Inertia Adventures has confirmed your Adventure.
Inertia Adventures strongly advises that travel insurance is obtained before placing a deposit so that your entire booking is protected.
For further protection you can get additional cover with supplied failure insurance – useful if you are booking flights directly with an airline that does not offer an ATOL protection.
Additionally, payments to Inertia Adventures can be made by credit card to give you security under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act of 1974.
